Highgrove House & Gardens
Highgrove is the private residence of Their Majesties The King and Queen. His Majesty The King first moved to Highgrove in 1980, and since then, the house and gardens have seen numerous innovations. Today, the celebrated organic gardens are open to the public for guided tours from April to October each year. Tickets must be booked in advance.
Westonbirt Arboretum
The Arboretum was created nearly two hundred years ago by Robert Holford, who also built Westonbirt House (now Westonbirt School) and the lovely gardens surrounding it. There are around 15,000 specimens and 2,500 species of trees from all over the world set in 240 hectares of landscaped gardens and woods, with plenty of information for young and old alike.
