Highgrove House & Gardens
Highgrove is the private residence of Their Majesties The King and Queen. His Majesty The King first moved to Highgrove in 1980, and since then, the house and gardens have seen numerous innovations. Today, the celebrated organic gardens are open to the public for guided tours from April to October each year.

Westonbirt Arboretum
The Arboretum was created nearly two hundred years ago by Robert Holford, who also built Westonbirt House (now Westonbirt School) and the lovely gardens surrounding it.
There are around 15,000 specimens and 2,500 species of trees from all over the world set in 240 hectares of landscaped gardens and woods, with plenty of information for young and old alike.

Beaufort Polo Club
The Beaufort Polo Club was established in 1872 and is located in nearby Westonbirt, just 2 miles from Shipton Moyne.
Set against the picturesque backdrop of the Cotswold countryside, Beaufort Polo Club provides a blend of sporting excellence and relaxed social atmosphere, making it a notable destination for both polo enthusiasts and newcomers. The Club hosts the Gloucestershire Festival of Polo every June.

Malmesbury Abbey
Just three miles away lies Malmesbury, an historic hilltop town that is home to the stunning 12th-century Abbey, which is still in use today.
Next door, the Abbey House Gardens offer five acres of beautifully landscaped grounds. Once thought to be England’s first capital, Malmesbury is rich in legend, charm and peaceful beauty, making it perfect for a relaxed day out.

Tetbury
Tetbury is a picturesque market town known for its honey-stone buildings, antique shops, and cosy cafés just 2.5 miles down the road. It’s closely tied to the royal family, with King Charles III’s Highgrove Estate nearby and the Highgrove Shop in town.
